How Can I return to the other partition?

I shut Down, And I can only access lion stuff, not my older stuff.

Thanks.

I'm not sure whether this is what you mean, but like if you want to get back to your Snow Leopard partition while booting up, just hold option before the Apple logo, and use arrow keys to select your partition.

yup, & if you want to always initially boot in snow leopard go to your preferences and click on startup disk. Then you do the option thing when booting only when you want to go on Lion.

Thanks, Now I want to delete Lion and the new partition.

I Go to my original Hd and click the - on my new partition to delete, but it says; Partition failed, requires a newer version of mac Os X.

    Anyone know what to do?

    Cheers.

That's a good question. I am interested in this response as well. BTW, I haven't tried restarting yet. Try that, and then maybe try deleting the partition from the Snow Leopard Install Disk.

I'm back! I was able to delete the lion partition after booting from SL install disk, and using Disk Utility from there.

Alright so while you're in your actual Snow Leopard OS, where you regularly do your work, put in the Snow Leopard Install DVD. It should have come with your Mac, and on the front it will say your Mac model, and under that Mac OS X Install DVD. Once you've put that CD in, restart and instead of holding down option like you did before, hold down C instead before the Apple logo comes up. This will boot from your CD. It will ask you for your language, then it'll load some screen. At the top menu bar, click Utilities, and then click Disk Utility. Delete the Lion partition as you tried to do before. It should work. Post back your questions/results!!

Just make sure you click Disk Utility, click on your hard drive at the top… it will say something like Hitachi XXXXXXX then under that the name of your two partitions. Click on the Hitachi, click Partition, click on the Lion partition in the white box thing where it shows how your drive is divided, and then hit the - sign. It should work fine and dandy!
