I'm wondering how I can make it so in my game, I can drag or swipe an actor and it will stop there I only need my actor to drag either up and down or left and right. My game is similar to unblock me. Please make the answers detailed because I just started.

Thanks you guys.

Hey there. I highly recommend since as you stated you just started. That you take a step back from trying to create any games and just spend a month making test projects and learning the tool. Click support up at the top of the page and read all of that stuff.
Down at the bottom there is a link for The GameSalad CookBook. Again tons of very helpful videos. also go check out www.gshelper.com Tshirtbooth has tons of helpful stuff there too.
Theres also the unofficial GameSalad cookbook on itunes which has loads of information. Its expensive but definitely worth it.
And you can also go the paid help route. If you go to the market place you will see some stickies at the top one One is mine and it give my prices for help and theres also one from Tshirtbooth. THe guy that made most of the cookbook videos. His prices are in there too.

So theres lots of routes you can take to learn the tool. Which in the long run is gonna be the most important part of Making Games Successfully.

    Thanks
    Aaron

I thought I would get help and not just offers to do it for money. I know what I'm doing because I set up everything (swipes) except I don't know how to get it to stop after the swipe.

It screams hey I have no idea what im doing. Therefore I highly recommend you learn the tool before diving into creating a game.

So thats why I told you to look at all of the EXTREMELY GREAT FREE INFORMATION available to you and then if you still where completely lost there are options for more advanced help.

And yes this forum is great and we will give you loads of free help as long as its not obvious you have not done your part and learned the basics. See when you understand the basics you don't need Very detailed information because someone can post the general gist and you will instantly fill in the blanks.

    Good Luck with the basics.

Hi I'm studying collisions of two actors which is the two actor is movable. I put a rule in each of them that if one actor collide another actor it couldn't pass through on the other actor and i got it but the problem is the actor is moving and if I unchecked the movable attribute of the actors the collision is no longer used what is wrong with this??

    thank you
