hey everbody i need some help naming this character of mine.

    in this earlier concept of him he was called tubby. what do you think of that?

    I prefer tubby. The line weight give better clarity. I dislike the 'acid' colour balance and would push the body colour into a cleaner yellow (dropping the green level a little and raising the red), but this is a personal preference.

    good luck and I would like to see a complete environment done in Tubby's style.

    p.s. He looks like a form of pasta. Perhaps you could develop a complete family. The names would be obvious.

    I like Tubby too :) Otherwise I would suggest Butch or Buster depending on his temper haha

    You should name the game, "Pep talk with Peppy!" xDDD. Haha, I like both Peppy and Tubby. :)

    i will have a video trailer uploaded within the next week then i will bump this thread and you guys can see more about the game to pick a good name to go with it.

    we have officially decided to use Tubby as the name for our main character. unless anyone else finds another name that we like better.

    I really like your character, professionally done, I think. Tubby as a name though has a few negative connotations, do you think? From the dictionary:

    Tubby
    1 informal (of a person) short and rather fat. [ORIGIN: referring to the shape of a tub.]
    2 (of a sound) lacking resonance; dull. [ORIGIN: referring to the sound of a tub when struck.]

    Or perhaps I'm analyzing it too much...
