I was just wondering when making art and such.. is it important to keep graphics at sizes like 64x64... 128x64.. 256x256.. etc

I'm dealing with looking for game optimization as i have a game that gets very fast and it feels like if too much is going on, accuracy gets lost..

Thanks
Caleb

Its powers of 2 I think you mean. And yes for memory management it is really good to understand how it works.

yea sorry powers of two. i remember dealing with that a lot when doing textures for Half Life and Quake, etc.. and I know other engines like Corona encourage that rule as well.
