Pause menu

so how would i create a pause menu that is slightly transparent and you can see the scene you paused in the background? so if i was in midair and i hit the pause button then the pause menu would come up and in the background you could see the scene i just froze with me in mid air.

    Well, you would need a black background that probably has 50% transparency.

    I guess you could use the Pause behavior, then spawn that actor onto the screen, then when you un pause, destroy it.

    Using the Pause Attribute it would go to your pause scene where you would have an actor (just create a new actor and drag it onto the scene) Make it black and set the opacity to 50% or whatever (as Braydon_SFX says) make it as big as the scene and place any Pause graphic or button on top of that. And of course set up your unpause click rule there as well.
