How do I add sounds Downloaded off the internet to my Gamsalad game?

I need help.
I have a Mac, and I downloaded a few sounds off the internet, but it won't let me put music/sounds into my game. What do I do? Am i doing something wrong?
Please help.

    i tried with an .au but it wouldn't allow me to select it. what format should they be in?

    .mp3

    Sound files should be .ogg

    Music files should be .m4a

    That's what GameSalad converts them to. Some people have good luck using .caf files, but I've never tried it myself.

    Thanks, but my problem is that the sounds/music I downloaded of the internet is not in bold, and won't let me grab it and put it into gamesalad.

    Again, What format is the file?

    GameSalad will import most file types but some it will not. Try converting your audio to an mp3

    If you have the same problem I did, than I recommend getting,"Switch". It will switch just about any type of music format to an MP3 format and more. It's free and easy. This is what solved my problem. Go here http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html to download for free for Mac. Or just google "Switch Download", should be the first thing to pop up.
