Pong Game Help??

I have my pong game pretty much done....i just have one major problem. Everytime one of the paddles touches the ball it starts spinning and moving all over the place....can anyone help me fix this problem??? it's obviously a big problem for my game :P

    I believe you need to constrain it to the X and Y location of where you want your paddle to be.
    There should be a video in the cookbook I assume.

    I've tried that before....i'll try it again though...thanks for the suggestion!
