☼☼☼ New Float Style Template - Bloons ☼☼☼

Hello I am pleased to announce a new template based off of the popular game Float.

The gameplay is relatively simple. You have to try and keep the balloons up in the air away from the spikes below, and there is a bonus area that you should try to keep the balloons within to maximize your scoring possibilities.

This template features:

full sounds and music
Easily changeable Custom font system
Interactive title page (Float style)
High Scoring system
All graphics
Randomly generated backgrounds -So that user gets a different experience each time! (8 included)
Game over page
Life system
Intiger based system to easily create new levels by simply copying and changing numbers
Countdown Timer
and I will also include PSD files and fonts if you would like to use the same fonts for your version.

This is a great framework to build a really great and popular game. I actually built this template based off of a game I am working on. Although I suggest being creative and creating new graphics and gameplay levels for whatever you may use this template for all graphics and sounds are available for use in any form.

    Definitely Interested- PM sent! Any idea on what you will price this at? Also will you have same color combo scoring where alternating taps between the 2 or more of the same color balloon creates insane point multipliers, like in FLOAT?

    BLOONS is a very popular game in the app store too, but I guess it doesn't matter since this is just a template.

    @greenrhyno yes you can definitely do combos. I have a rough version of their combo system currently implimented, but will be customizing it further in v2 of this template. Which I will send out to all buyers free.

    Tomsitems is 'slimline games' who released about five or six template games completely unchanged recently.

    A very sad state of affairs :(

    well I think if you release a template it probably doesn't have the finished quality of a good polished game. Hopefully people can tell the difference. Whats the point in releasing a game if your not actually creating it in some way? Seems like no fun at all.

    you'd be surprised man. some people are completely loon. A couple people actually POSTED it and said please leave a review and stuff like it was THEIR game. -_____- people these days

    It would be better if the balloons when touched rise (like they do) but also respond to where they are touched. i.e. if you touch bottom left then it will rise but also go to the right. If you touch bottom right then it will rise to the left etc

    That can be done actually. I plan on releasing v2 of this template by midweek next week with levels a few added graphical effects as well as different gameplay modes. Maybe I will add that in as well.

    Jason,

    Did this already, I'll try and email you a version- maybe you will have some ideas to improve it, but it seems to work pretty well. I just based the linear velocity on the difference between the touch point and the pressed objects point. Only problem is if you happen to touch the second balloon (Touch 2) before releasing the first touch (Touch 1) the equation uses the values for Touch 1. Not sure if there is a way to set it to most recent touch...

    Also, I'm gonna play with putting the rules for the balloon speed in a tag rather than the individual balloons- I read somewhere that that is possible- but I'm new to GS- like 3 days new...
