Just showing off a little screenshot of my new games art direction. Have a bunch of other stuff i have to take care of before i get back to working on this, hope to get back to it soon though :)

    Thanks guys ! :D Doing it all myself so its taking me a little while, having alot of fun doing it though. Ill post some more screenies later when im off work, on lunch now. (took a physical labor job for the first time in years, i miss my computer!) ;)

    Looks great. Do you know how to do to do multiple torchlight spots? You might find it useful if you've not figured it out already.

    @Kipper, thanks mate. Yep i plan on doing somethign like that in further levels. All the lights rotate back and forth and such. Ill post more screenshots later when i get a chance and some gameplay.

    That screen shot looks very very cool. Reminds me of the game mentioned on te other thread we were talking about and a really cool animated short that I also can't remember the name of. If I ever remember I'll forward on a link to the short. It's all in black white and a bit of red and really heavily stylised.

    Just got home, got to take care of some stuff for other people then ill be posting more screenshots and a gameplay video. (no graphics in the gameplay yet though)

    Little wheel was another inspiration for the art style, thats another cool game worth checking out.

    @Stromy if you remember that link please post would love to check it out :)

    That does look amazing, cant wait to check it out. It looks a lot like a ps3 game called Limbo I really like that type of art.. I dont know what type of gameplay you are planning for this but here is a video of the game i'm talking about, maybe you can check it out and get some ideas.

    @Steve yeah it was inspired by limbo. Love that game. Gameplays completly different though. Video coming soon ;)

    Yeah. I downloaded the demo a few days ago and I was really impressed with the art. Whatever this is looks good too.

    I'm going to start watermarking the pics that I post in here too. It's just too dangerous now a days to post pictures of game ideas without having some kind of protection.

    Still finishing up my other work, more pics and video coming later on today though, promise ;)
