New game Skware and new web site [Applaud]

Hi everyone,

My new game Skware has been submitted to Apple and in anticipation I've launched a new website and small name change.

There are some more screen shots of Skware on the homepage (one below of instructions overlay) - what do you think? I'm going to make a video next.

    Sorry about that! Skware took only a month to make and a month to fiddle about with! So development was quite quick once I'd come up with the concept.

    Look forward to seeing your game too.

    I've now got a video of the game - pardon the jerky quality, its with a demo screen recorder and not very smooth. Should give you an idea.



    PS - when enabling GC the sound doesn't stop like in this video !

    It's even more fun to play than it looks. I've had a great reaction from friends (of all ages).

    I couldn't show it in the video but on the iPhone you can tap 2,3 or 4 into place at the same time - so it become quite a skill to see more than one moving into its quadrant and going for it - the quicker each level is completed the higher the score. I hope it will get quite competitive on game center!

    Great looking game. I like how you managed to do the options.

    However it will probably be rejected due to the use in the options of a background really similar (if not the same) to Apple's linen login background. They're very strict on this, I've got an app rejected because it used a green felt texture similar to the GameCenter one.

    Really? It's not the same but its a copy of their linen texture. I don't see why they would reject it based on that - they don't own the copyright to all linen textures! If anything I thought they might have issue with my game center styled icons.

    Well - will find out in a few days....
