If you find an app in the gs creator,
That is a demo template
For example the alien conquerers template,
Could i use the code add my own graphics and add my own sound effects and publish my app to the app store,
Or would i get in trouble?
Even though i made the graphics and i made the sound and the only thing that belongs to the creator is the code?

Yes you can certainly base a game off the free stuff and submit it to the app store. I have never seen a game complete enough on there to just simply change art though. so you really should make changes and additions to make it your own game.

But if they have made it downloadable they have given the ok to use the code in your own project. You should not however take that free demo and make a paid template out of it. If the majority of your template came from free stuff you should have the decency to make your template free as well.
