Hi Folks

This might be easy or sound easy but I've been struggling to get it to work.

I have a button called 'Fire Off' and one called 'Fire On'

The ON button is exactly the same gfx but a little lighter, so it looks switched on.

I have placed the 'Fire Off' on the screen where I wanted it...

I now need a way of replacing the OFF button with the ON button so that when the button is pressed it replaces it with the ON button for 2 seconds then shows the OFF button after.

I've tried replace OFF with ON which works great but after 2 seconds it still shows the ON gfx.

I've also tried SPAWN gfx and it's not working!!! aagghh

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help guys...

Make a rule in your button actor - when touch is pressed, then use change image behaviour - to 'fire on'. In the same rule, then add a timer, tick run to completion, after 2 seconds change image to 'fire off'

    Hi CBL

Tried that and it doesn't work...just keeps on showing the 'FIRE ON' gfx after 2 seconds.

Do I need to put anything in the actual actor within the scene?

Yes all the rules must be in the actual actor in the scene. Where are you putting the rules?

I thought in this instance it was in the Gamesalad depository on the left of the screen...silly me! :)
