Actors colliding with a gap in between them?

Ok so im working is the preloaded cannon game changing it around and for the cannon i put a different image for it and i put a dumpster for it to land in but when my 'cannon' hits the dumpster it pushes the dumper back and it never actually touches it like theres a big gap inbetween which doesnt make sence cause in photoshop i trimed the edges to make it as small as possible...

Any help is greatly appricated, thanks for looking! :)

    Sounds like you have transparency still in there. Double check your images files.

    when i highlight it in GS like where you can resize it shows right up against all edges of my picture so theres no transparency issues i wouldnt think haha
