Moving actors, what are you using?

Hey everybody,

I control my character with buttons and change velocity, do you also do it like this?
My game is a jump and run game....

Accelerate does not work in my game, so are there other options?

I use a timer every 0 seconds and motion velocity X for most platform/run jump games but there's a few ways to move actors..best thing to do is try all of them and see which works best for your game.
