While the overall video is quite fantastic, one thing felt rough. The music seemed too digital. It sounded like something used on a 90's 2D Sonic final boss. I felt like it didn't fit with the cheery, cute theme of the rest of the game.

The idea all along was to make a game that makes people happy/gives them a warm glow inside. It's called 'Sunshine' after all!
Just looking at the icon makes me smile, and I love that. I hope it has the same affect on others!

Yep, it's retro music. Some people had commented during testing that they thought the music seemed a bit out of place. In all cases, every one of those people came back to me a few days later saying the music was perfect/had grown on them.
One tester even just played the game so he could hear the tunes!
It's cheerful music for a cheerful game! I hope it grows on you too!

Personally, I curse when I hit something I'm not supposed to. Then I look at the Sun's shocked little face. Which turns smiley again as soon as I start shooting.

The iPad version got approved today - I'm waiting on the iPhone version though so I can release both the same day. Probably Wednesday/Thursday next week with any luck!

I'll be emailing a few places tomorrow I think, then doing a PRMAC press release thingy on Tuesday (hopefully the day before release) and *then* emailing a few specialist kids/family orientated sites to see if there's any interest.
