I do all my developing on a 13" Air and could't be happier. I use my Air over my 27" iMac.

I use a mbpro 13" with a monitor, I would deffinately say MBP, MBA does not have enough storage, plus MBP's are better :P

The decider to be honest is Storage and Optical Drive. Do you need them. I bought my wife the new 13" air with 256 GB drive and it blows my 2010 MBP out of the water in terms of loading times on absolutely everything.

As TSB said though the screen is small. So you prob want an extra monitor for the few things you will need a larger screen for.

I was misled by the thread title. You're definitely missing an option in this poll

I think I buy a MBA with ext. Monitor and ext. HDD.
Because the MBA is so fast and so sexy;)
Thank you all for your replays :)

Ya, the only problems are, It doesn't generally come in big storage options and if it does it costs a fortune!! :)

go with whatever has more power since your monitor sizes are the same on both mbp or mba. Also SSD is always a plus, makes opening programs super fast.

Sort of, but the resolution is higher on the Air, so essentially you get more screen space on the Air than the Pro.

The air, easier to carry, so you can work anywhere.
