Hi guys,
Im thinking of making a website and supplying, templates art and sound,

Although i can't quite decide how to make my website:

I was thinking of making it with wordpress or something else, until i realised that wordpress wasn't really my cup of tea, but it is still an option or maybe some- other web designing software,

What should i use to make my website??
What websites should i base mine on??
Do you guys have any good templates (please no wordpress ones)
If any of the gs owners of the websites listed above are reading this, please tell me how you made yours :)

I am familiar with maing websites with iWeb, but iWeb isn't fully customizable, and stuff,

    anyone that sells templates or anything will sell them on there own site. Theres been about 100 people so far that tried to make a site like you had in mind and they all were down within days cause theres no interest. Not trying to be mean just stating the truth

    Ya, the sole purpose is not for, templates its for my app company, but i will post templates swell if people want them,
    But thanks anyway!!

    I would prefer if it was an application you can download, but instead you have to use it through hosting and ftp

    http://www.epiggames.com was done with a WordPress Template by me.

    Both of the hosts that I have used had a free third party add-on called "simple scripts." This basically allows you to install wordpress with just a few clicks. They send you an email when it's done with the address, username, password for your admin panel and off you go. You can make your own theme in something like Artisteer (that's what I did). Or you can search through the thousands of free wordpress themes right in your wordpress admin panel. I use blue host and love it. They will stay on the phone with you (and they speak american english not Indian english, which is great for me) and will walk you through it. Highly recommend them. You will not need to do FTP with this.

    Yes but i already own a hosting package that is valid for 25 sites, and they do not offer wordpress support so wordpress, isn't exactly convenient for me unless, i buy new hosting or just use the supplied themes which are awful

    I don't know word press but it looks great and you can do some brilliant stuff with it.

    Take a look at themeforest.com (I think it's .com)

    its full of cheap (like $12 cheap) templates, all really really professional looking.

    They do normal HTML ones and WordPress ones... lots of them and all very cool.
