  Quick example:
  
  Have a button and when you press that button your ball accelerates with the accelerate behaviour at a 45 degree angle and add gravity to your scene so that it falls down. Then have your basket somewhere and have at the collide rule set so they collide with one another.
  
  Not sure how much control you want but check the cannon ball template.

  There's a demo out there that allows you to toss a ball using touch. I forget who made I tho, it was a few mths ago

  Thanks, Yes, I have been reverse engineering the Cannon ball template with little success. I'll try you suggestions.
