This is an old thread, but it is the easiest for me to follow:

Just read what tshirt said :D

    <$img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/image.png">

remove the $ and make sure there is no space there.

    cheers

    Check the FAQ sticky.

The code RKS posted is what you need to use and you just post it directly into the text box

Maybe the new forum should support image uploading.

I dont think the initial Phase has it. Maybe something that will come in the future. I personally like the hotlinked version. I can upload to my Drop box and if I ever want to take it down I can remove it quickly and easily.

    img src="http:// photourl" />

    img src="xx xxxx" />

You put the URL of the image you want (like one you upload to Photobucket) Where I put the X's...

    img src="YOUR LINK" />

With < on the left and > on the right of the whole thing.

This already got answered by me, and for some reason everyone has to post it again. No sweat, maybe you wrote it more understandably. But still.

I think its funny to see everyone posting some variation with instructions to remove or add a character to complete the code when your the only one who seems to know about commenting the code out in your post so you can visually see the entire exact code with nothing added or missing. ;)

`This line of text is commented out and any code placed inside will not work as normal.`

This line of text is not Commented out and all code will run normal. See if you can find the difference. Besides the fact that to font looks different. ;)
