You should have xcode 4.2 installed

When you upgrade Gamesalad be sure you have the latest version of Xcode installed! Remember Gamesalad uses Xcode and the builds are designed for the most current version. The current version of Xcode for OS X 10.6.8 is version 4.2. If you have a developer account with Apple you can get it there, be sure to get the Sonw version and not the Lion build. If you're using Lion Gamesalad has said it's software is currently not compatable with Lion. If you don't have an Apple Developer account Xcode is available on the Mac App Store as a free download.

FYI I have the current build of Xcode 4.2 and GS 9.87 and have had no problems publishing.

I don't think GS have ever stated this. They are still building our apps with 4.01. The viewer even builds quite happily with 3.2.6 !

I have had it happen before where I didn't have the latest Xcode and got errors until I updated. Why would you not want to run the latest Xcode anyway?
