Soo much spam now on the new forum, let sous ban!

Hi guys. The amount of spam now on the new forums is driving me insane! I heard one of the sous say they can no longer ban their ip's? Why??? Surely you can't expect them to give up their time cleaning it all up, not be able to ban them and see it just reappear.

If they can ban then my bad :)

Either way, something needs to happen to stop this!

    I look the movement of not having the SOUS chefs having the ability to ban users. It seems that some of them use this only for personal gain. It has been outlined in the GS Rules and Guidelines for the community, that ONLY HEAD chefs have the ability to ban and NOT sous chefs. This is a privelege that should be reserved to those that are unbiased, and appropriately follow the guidelines. Thank you GS :D

    To be fair, I think the ban's have been justified. People stealing games etc should be banned.

    lol none of us have ever used it for our personal gain. If we did we wouldnt be sous chefs anymore. And now im convinced your who we think you are. Also i should note the whole time ive been a sous ive never seen the gs guys reverse a ban that one of us did. We actually run it by them first most of the time unless its spam

    I'm guessing this Dude (who joined an hour ago) got banned for something HE DID WRONG and is sour about it because he knows he was in the wrong. A genuine member that had been on the forums for an hour wouldn't even know what a Sous's jobs are, never mind their use for personal gain.

    im 99% sure its the guy who stole tshirts game and art assets and then put them in his game. The usernames are even similar. Look at tshirts thread about the tiny balls project giveaway

    Absolutely, fact is, if you're a decent community member, you have nothing to worry about. If you follow the rules in the 1st place, you won't be banned. Pretty simple stuff here. How come in over 2 years i've been using GS, i've never been banned or as much as threatened? Answer, i just don't be a jerk or break rules.

    @John - Yeah, he is obviously dumb, too... If you're going to try and sneak back in, don't comment on the threads that got you banned haha.

    @mynameisace I don't want to criticise you, so I'll just ask, do you believe that someone would be dumb enough to construct a GS account and try to sneak in like this?

    @Papi art wasn't stolen. The code is now free, funny how things pan out, isn't it ;)

    Yes the art was stolen and you still cant use it with the project hes giving away. The only thing thats funny is how things will pan out for you. If the guys at gs didnt support a ban that any of us did you wouldnt be banned. Youve made it very clear who you are. Ive contacted them and youll be dealt with accordingly.

    It is good to share opinions hopefully in future GS members won't be attacked for it.

    You 'joined' an hour ago... Nobody would possibly know that information after joining an hour ago. Multiple accounts violates the terms and conditions of GameSalad. Wether you stole Tiny Balls or not (which you did), you are still violating terms with your new account.

    P.S. As much as I hate people that steal and I think you are lucky just getting banned, I think people like you should be prosecuted, Papi is a pretty cool nickname for John... I'm stealing it.

    You know i see what your actually saying and not just what you have edited after right?

    Im gonna close this down guys before it gets more out of hand then it is. My apologies to everyone as im to blame for that.

    @ Beefy i appreciate you making this thread. Its definitely a concern that we have all had after the new forum went live. Ill let the head guys know all your opinions on this as well.

    @ Ace thats actually what everyone called me in highschool hahaha. Bring on the fond old memories :)
