    Ah I understand now.

To have the iOS 5 version, I need to have Lion installed not Snow Leopard. What a bummer.
What a pain in the but... Seems tricky/risky to revert also.

Edit - It's only $30? what the heck. Thought it was over $100!

I work in snow leopard just make sure you select 5.0 as the target version in Xcode 4.2. Also, I have ios 5.0 on my ipad2 and it works for me. Just a heads up GS doesn't support Xcode 5.0.

Yeah but it says it only supports V4.3

Using any beta versions of any software from Apple prevents you from uploading anything to them for some stupid reason. You have to be using the current live public versions of everything. I quit testing beta builds for iOS stuff because of this. I thought it was cool to have access to the iPhone iOS and Xcode before all my friends, but it screwed me on development.

I was about to download Lion when I read all the horror stories. Yeesh. Does anyone have the new Gamesalad iOS viewer working on Snow Leopard? I can't get it to work! I've been trying to get it to work for several weeks with no luck.

I regret Lion. Worst decision ever.

There is a different version of Xcode for lion. Check on the apple developer website. Make sure you have that installed.

iOS 5.0.1 is not a beta but the most current version. Download Xcode 4.2
