Does anyone know an user named (Deleted)
He stole my text game, description & screenshots (Deleted)
How is this possible???

    Wow that's a seriouse one, he accualy stole your work!
    First I suggest contact apple immediately and ask them to remove it due to copyright infringement !
    Second we need to figure out how the hell this happened? Reverse engineering ?

    I think so, if you download an app created with GS and open the folder, somehow you will find the project there...I tried to open it, the preview works but you cannot edit anything...maybe this is how he did it....

    IT'S CRAZY!!!

    P.S. I had the Sweet Froggy template for sale on the market place and I've sold it exclusively to a sous chef, so I'm sure this guy ripped my template somehow...

    Ok, I found out that actually this guy bought it from another one called Reza Pekan.

    Yeah, he's got the Tower Defense Template up, and the Panda Fu game is a rip off too. I think he may have done most of the others because they look like crap. Mix matched art, and just crappy looking gameplay.

    Everything he has there looks like crap. This guy published 129 apps until now. This is crazy! Apple should do something about it, the App Store is full of crap!

    So.. he's reverse engineered an app - and then tried to sell it back to people here on the forum?

    All these instances make you wonder whether its best not to announce our games on here from now on. Seems a shame - but will make it less easy for people like this to rip us off.

    it does make you wonder...is he earning a decent amount of money by putting out so much rubbish?

    I don't think so, all of the apps are crap (judging by the graphics) and are not reviewed so I really don't think he's earning money.

    That is interesting but i think you need to the .app file to do that not the .ipa, file (What you get from iTunes) Because i don't think you can view the contents of the .ipa file........ I don't think you can anyway... I've never tried :),
    He may have done it another way....,

    Yep thats a user that has been a problem with selling templates and been banned seems like 1000 times over
    Eminem would be a more well know name.

    I saw how easy the reverse engineer is when it was posted on the forum recently. For anyone who doubts it - its a simple 2 minute job! I really hope GS have been true to their word and increased security.

    So, whats the state with this now?

    Someone posted how to do it on the forum about a month ago, Thankfully it was taken down real quick but I just happened to be online while it was there - and saw what a simple process it was.

    SSS responded that GS we're going to up security at the build end to make it less easy to rip. But right now I have doubts this has happened :-(

    It's still the same, but to be fair, all games on the app store are the same, you can get the code for Angry Birds as easily as you can our games, in fact, you can get to logic etc with the Xcode/other SDK games, whereas you cannot with GS games, so overall they are a little more secure.

    They are improving it though but it will just get hacked again, that's life and how people are I'm afraid.

    One thing to remember is this guy ripped these projects off months ago. Im unaware of the improvements being implemented yet but they would not have stopped this guy. he is the vile scum of the Development community. and instead of looking to improve him self he will always and forever look profit from illegal and immoral acts.

    @tenrdrmer - Absolutely correct. I didn't realize it was Eminem. Notorious vulture, opportunistic thief. I bet he hangs out with the occupy Wall-Streeters, waiting for a hand out, when he's not stealing other people games.
