Theme suggestions please - for the TOTB4 GameSalad Game Design competition

Theme suggestions for the TOTB4 GameSalad Game Design competition

As the title suggests, I'm after everyones theme suggestions for the contest.

The final theme will be announced at the start of the contest on New Years Day. (count down clock at:
http://www.stormystudio.com/totb4.html)

Everyone entering the contest has to create a game some how based around the given theme.

The previous 3 themes have been:

Space,
Arctic and Antarctic,
The Ocean,

So please give ideas of any sort...

either something similar to before...(i.e. The Desert, Jungle, Farm animals, dreams,)

or perhaps a bit different i.e. (end of the world, electricity, political monetary systems, sharing, )

or perhaps make the theme a technical one i.e. (one touch games, use two multi touches, use the accelerometer in a new way)
....

Be great to see what ideas people come up with...it would be great to find a theme thats popular but not over down on the app store...(i.e. Zombies are cool but there are so many zombie games out there..)

    I like the idea black and white!!!!.......
    How about we make an ultimate theme for this years TOTB
    CRAZY, INSANE, OUT OF THE BOX (IT CANT BE FROM A REAL THING I.E> SEA, EARTH ANIMAL, YOU HAVE TO COME UP TITH EVERYTHING... EVERYTHING HAS TO BE NUTS!!!!)

    I really think an abstract theme would open more creative avenues. I am not competing but am interested to seethe results.

    Maybe this time instead of using an environment oriented theme you could go for a time oriented theme, something like Prehistory, Medieval Europe, Roman Empire, etc...

    That way I think you could get a lot of ideas flowing. For example if you set something like "Seventeenth Century" as theme you could get entries that may go from action packed pirates games to brain challenging puzzle games set in some king's court.

    My ideas:
    Life in Motion (games about any sort of vehicles - cars, trains, planes etc.)
    Orient (games about anything related to Middle or Far East - like food, culture, ninjas, karate, crusades, etc.)
    Fantasy (I think I don't have to explain this one :)
    Sci-Fi (I think I don't have to explain this one :)
    Love (games about anything releted to Love - relationship, family, God, dates, romance, etc.)

    Just my 2 cents :)

    Retro
    Rubber
    Evolution
    Temperature
    60 seconds (all levels have a 60s time limit, or something to that effect)

    I like the idea of a "Jungle" theme. Also, "Black and White" sounds cool.

    I think "Black & White" Would be a great theme, because it would realy show how creative a developer really is!!,

    I'll second time based themes. I think you could generate a wide range of creative ideas if you just went with something like "The Past".

    ooh 'inside of a box' .. I see what you did there :-)

    Like 'Rubber', leads to game ideas that would make good use of the gamesalad physics system...

    White & Black sounds cool, it gives not only literal possibilities but also metaphoric ones. Like evil - good, etc.

    If i can suggest something guys, this trade supposed to help stormystudio to choose one theme, so giving him like ten doesn't help.

    Black and white as in dark and basic art not necessarily the colors black and white;

    Well, it is 2012, the so called 'end of the world'

    So i think something along the lines of that! Theme- 2012/End of the world.
    You had a great idea in your examples...
