I just wanted to know what the best programs were to record gameplay footage of my game for trailers and stuff, and also how the rest of you have gone about recording gameplay. I want to make something that will look clean and professional, so if you have any suggestions on good and easy to use video editing software (thats not iMovie) that would be great. Also it doesn't matter whether the programs are free or expensive.

Cheers.

I use Screenflow, it's always been great for me and has quite extensive editing capabilities built in, although I use Final Cut Pro for editing.

I have Screenflick but am having issues when saving the file in HD, basically it stretches the video horizontally. Screenflow sounds good though.

    Good luck!

    +1 to Screenflow

It has a lot of nice features and it runs very fast on my 2007 iMac
