Inkscape Layers?

Hey,

how can I change the layer position of each object. I have two at the moment
and the one I want at the front is now at the back ://

    what? I don't find it :/

    You mean beside "fill and stroke" or?

    CTRL+SHIFT+L - opens the layers panel and the up down buttons allow you to move the layer up and down the stack.
