Whats the best way to make music for my game?

so i want to be able to make my own music for my game but i don't know how. whats the best program (preferably free) to make music? and are their any recommended tutorials? if not or i end up lacking musical talent who would be the best person to hire?

    I havn't had much experience with making music, but there is this website called http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/ that gives out great music commercial free. I've found it pretty useful in some of my other projects. Maybe you can find something there that will suit your game :)

    If you have never made music before, starting off is going to be pretty hard imo. But check our :
    Grage Band
    Ableton Live
    Cubase
    Logic
    Propellerheads Reason

    You would be better off trying to find some royalty-free/stock music sites and buying something that fits your game

    Or hiring a musician to make a soundtrack for your game.

    Also GS just added audio to the marketplace, they are in the process of stocking as they bring those who were approved online.

    wow thanks everyone.
    i listened to all your music sparkyidr and i really liked it! a lot of it was really cool. il try making my own music if that doesn't work ill probably look at the marketplace or hire someone :P
