Saving some settings after exiting and entering the game

Hi
I only have one problem :
in Option of my game , I turn the music and sound effect OFF (and it work fine) , when I quit the game , and enter to the game again , the sound and music are not mute, they are playing but I turned them OFF in game, how can I save these changes after exiting and entering again ?

PLEASE HELP ME :(

    Make an attribute for whether the sound is on or off then save it when it is changed. Load it up right as the game starts.

    I did this but i didnt work , i dont know why,

    Make sure they're game attributes and not scene attributes.
