Completely mouth made sounds

Yeah, are human sounds okay to use, or is it considered freaky or something? Like, using a pitch bent cough as an explosion..?

    Thats what sound design is all about - Taking something and making it something else. The phaser sounds from Star Wars were created by someone hitting a support wire for a telephone pole with a hammer. They got the Godzilla roar by rubbing a resin-covered leather glove along the loosened strings of a double bass, and then slowed down the playback. So if you can pull it off and make it not sound like a cough, it's all good.

    I can make sounds from places other than my mouth but the apple developer guide says they have enough of those apps.
