Armv7 and so are the iPads?

I thought iPad 1 and iPad 2 are both armv7? So what's the point of having the 'require armv7' tick box when publishing iPad apps with Gamesalad. Does it matter if I tick or untick?

    It is pointless for now but its a setting that has to made for iOS don't worry about it on iPad. it should not affect anything either way.
