I just want to make a game for only me, that will work on my windows computer. I don't want it to be available on the gamesalad website. How could I do this with gamesalad?

Hi steeer0038, that's a no go, I'm afraid; GSC only runs on a Mac (or "hackintosh" on a windows); and all games made with GSC run only on iOS devices and Mac only.

Edit: John's quicker on the draw!

Phew, I deleted the comment; I must grow up!! You're welcome, steeler0038. :-)

PS GSC is still ahead of iStencyl as far as I can see...

Do you have a mac now? if not how do you plan to use GS to create anything as is?

The only thing i like about iStencyl is that you can also use Obj-C.
But GSC is far ahead as gyroscope said.

Yes, don't get me wrong, I love Gamesalad! There are a few things that stenclyworks has that I wish gamesalad had...such as joints, faster loading times, grids, and different collision shapes. But with stencylworks, I can make a flash game. I guess that is what I'm going to do for this project.

@tenrdrmer yes, i have a mac. I need to make this for a client who has windows.

But I agree, Gamesalad is the better tool. Keep up the great work Gamesalad team!

Ya thats a nice touch where you can add something in if the behaviours section doesnt have it..... I hope GS gets this!
