line cooks?

DEar All,
Theres just some thing thats been on my mind for ages, and I've asked around but no one seems to know....
What is a line cook?
I know what a sous chef is, but can't get my head around what a line cook is; Care to explain??
Sorry for posting this quick question.... (Its under miscellaneous by the way :P)

    a line cook is someone who gets the pre release builds and tests them for gamesalad, but dont have the moderation privileges a sous chef has

    John and tshirt are right about Line Cooks. You know what's the best about Line Cooks? They are like spies, you never know who the Line Cook is...

    It was a joke :) I have no idea how anyone can be a Line Cook.
    But!
    I have my own idea about it - I think that you have to be contacted by mysterious-dressed guy with even more mysterious pills - blue and red.

    I still say we should have an Iron Chef competition, complete with all the green pepper bitingimage , mystery ingredientsimage and shellfish flavored ice cream making in the real Iron Chef competition, but with more computers.

    Oh. Also the costumes. We definitely need those.

    I'm sure me and Asymptoteell are secretly line cooks as we both commented on what I call a GS wiki-leak thread last night. I'm sure all trace of us has been erased now though eh GS ;)

    I was line-cook for a while then I've been promoted as sous-chef and I'm on my way to become head chef.

    Oh, wait... That was in real life... Here I'm still at the bottom of the food chain. The irony of life... :-)

    As long as you get to play with fire, really hot surfaces and big and sharp knives any kitchen is good. If you then add the ability to poison famous peoples, then you can consider it top class :-)
