ARE TOTB4's not TOTBing enough??

Dear All,
Ive been having a look at some of the TOTB contest entries and a lot of them seem to be revolving around "Asteroids & Comets" Now I'm not saying anyone is copying anyone but it just seems that a lot of peoples games are based around the same thing, Im not sure how to take this.... Obviously the games are all going to turn out differently, I just thought id open up a thread to see how the rest of the GameSalad Community I'm sorry if this seemed insultive in any matter I'm just curious as to why there is such a fascination around asteroids,

    Well comets and asteroids ending the world have been made pretty popular by movies and tv shows and whatnot so alot of people think of them when it comes to end of the world reasons.

    No I agree with you but it is one of the more well know and bigger possibilities so more people will be more familiar with it. :)

    Well seing that your posting there names and threads, it does kinda seem like your singling them out.
    Theres no where it the rules that say there cant be similar ideas (which like tshirt said can be hard with a theme) I would just let it go.

    I know when i think of the world ending first thing that comes to mind for me is asteroids as well. Armageddon was an awesome movie :)

    How about teddy bears coming to life and taking over the world and ending it? posibility? :)

    Or maybe Justin Bieber taking over the world and ending it haha!!
