How do I change a template actor image?

Hi, I'm using a template to create my next game but when I try and replace the images within the template with my own images it doesn't work, it shows in the creator that the image is changed but when I press preview to run my game the old template image is still there, how do I fix this?

    Can anyone help me with this, I really can't do anymore work on my game until I can figure this out

    duplicate the project you are working in (Save As…)

    remove all template images you are changing from the newNamedProject
    save/quit GS/re-open project

    sometimes things stay in memory when we don't save/quit once in awhile.

    @MotherHoose I just tried doing what you said and its still not working, anyone else run into this problem?

    Edit - After doing this a few times it seems to have worked for me, thanks MotherHoose
