how do you move an actor left and right by touching on the screen either on the left or right side?

I have this problem where i need the human player to either touch the iphone screen on the left to move the main player left. And touch the right side of the iphone screen to make the player go right.

so imagine the iphone screen cut down the middle. one half is touch to go left and and the other side is touch right to go right.

but i cant make this work. So far i made an invisible actor and made it fit half the screen and make a rule but i not sure what to drag under it for the rule.

if anyone has the idea how to do it or can do a youtube video explaining how that would be great.

    Make a bvutton, set the alpha to zero but the "right button" to cover the right side (Because the alpha is zero the user cannot see it) and do the opposite of rthe left side

    yes but that dont explain how it will move the main actor across the screen left and right which is what i am after. this is just telling me how to make the invisible buttons on the screen which i already know :\
