Say Goodbye to PM Say hello To chat!??
Dear All,
AS you've probably noticed not much GS users use their PM's as they're to clogged up and take ages to load... Well what about a facbook style chat box.. But for some people that dont want to be asked questions all the time... You can set your status to busy, Customstatus, Go invisible, Opt out and more!
Well I do have one suggestion for GS: Comet Chat..

Why? Its got video chat, text chat, voice chat, screen sharing, you can even block people temporarily from chatting to you:
Its completely customizable: I know some users didn't want a who's online box back because they were being bothered too much when they were online, well with this you can simply set your status to invisible so people can't see you but you can see them online and start up a chat with them.... THIS COULD ALSO BE THE FUTURE LOCATION OF @MYNAMEISACE 'S WEBINAR IF GS AND HIM WANTED THAT!
This would also allow members to help each other even more by sharing they're screen!

If it showed him in chat, every man and his dog would be instant messaging him! Crazy!
If you read my post you would have read "You can go invisible or opt out!"
I hope GS do look into it.
Its great that you can go invisible or opt out.
Im 100% with this!
My next concern would be that there will be no public content, someone would come online, see xyz is online and ask there question in chat rather than have a thread which others can see and use for help.
The forums work well enough, i'd rather they keep focusing on the creator personally.

You can already do that through PM's so..... That doesn't make much sense.. Although....

As for people already being able to do what i've said in PM's ... NO way! As you pointed PM's are horrible on here and not many use them or check them often enough, if you need help, you wouldn't run the risk of waiting from a response to a PM you don't know has even been checked ... Instant messenger people would be all over that as they'll see it as they're likelier to get a quicker response
People are more likely to respond to a thread anyway!
