Question about Imac

How do you know if you have a quad or a duo processor? I clicked on the apple logo and went to "about this mac" and all it says is "2.93 GHz Intel Core i7, but nothing about quad or duo. Also went to "more info" but once again didn't find any info. Noob question I know, but I'm hoping someone will help me out.

Thanks!

    Hi the latest Gen iMac's (i5 and i7) are indeed Quad Core.
    To see how many cores / processors your Mac has:
    1. Click on the Apple logo (Top left Corner)
    2. Click on [About this Mac]
    3. Click [More Info]
    4. Click on the [Hardware] option in the top left of the list.

    This will show you how many cores and processors your mac has.

    It says I have 1 processor and 4 cores. I'm assuming I have a quad core then right?

    Thanks for the info, appreciate it.

    @Eagleone

    Yep, 1 processor with 4 cores = quad core.
