Hey guys as you know IAP is coming soon. If you want to see it in action Check out Penguin Glide Lite.

You get the first 15 Levels for Free and the Rest unlocked with an IAP for 0.99 Be sure to Check it out. And definitely let me know what you think as well as how the IAP process worked for you from a GS game. We're very excited about this release and hope you enjoy it.

    DOWNLOADING NOW !! I just looked at the size of the APP. I LOVED the fact that its 19.9 MB. Talk about your close to the 20MB limit for 3G downloading !! GREAT STUFF !!

    Thanks glad you like it. You don't have to download another version though you can just upgrade using the In-app purchase and continue from where you stopped. Maybe that's what you meant but it's late for me and I just wanted to make sure you knew. Lol

    Have the full version already but downloaded this to see iAP ... Im sure they've made it easy enough and thats something to look forward to. However, the real point of posting, the icon seems blurry on my 4s?

    you know what? Now that you mention it. The icon is blurry on my iPhone 4 as well. Ugg its always something that needs fixed.

    No worries. Is this a GS problem? I saw a thread recently with a title about their logo looking blurry ... i never actually read it though! I wonder if that was the same problem!

    Well I don't know any details yet but logically We have no control over the icons resizing and I have used the same icon as I have over and over in past builds with no issues. So Its got to be a behind the scenes issue somewhere.

    Played the free version. It's a fun, challenging, well-made game. Congrats and good luck with sales, tenrdrmer!

    I have a few questions about IAP regarding being able to unlock a full version:

    1) Say I download the free version and pay to unlock the full version on my iPhone. If I sync my iPhone to my PC and then my wife syncs her iPod Touch to it (using the same iTunes account), would the free or full version be available for my wife?

    2) If you unlock the full version using IAP, does the app icon change to reflect that it is the full version?

    The icon Does not Change. I don't think Any of them do this. In the future When we do a Freemium Game from scratch We will not have a free or Lite banner on there but this was a previous lite version so we left it. I don't think any apps change their icon when you upgrade. I could be wrong of course.

    Yes if your wife downloads it to her ipod as long as its the same itunes account you will be able to activate the IAP for free. The next update will likely have a Restore Previous purchases button We left it out of this first version because of some issues where the user could lock up the game. But that should be addressed in the Next version of the Game. We will probably wait until GS solves the blurry icon thing though to do an update.

    But yes the short answer is hit get full version enter your itunes info and if you have already purchased it on one device it will let you have the unlock for free as long as it is the same itunes account.

    Hey there tenrdrmer,

    I just checked out your game. Very nice! I'm actually having a hard time finding where the IAP stuff is integrated, but maybe I have to finish all of the levels first.

    Anyway, quick question if you don't mind. How were you able to link directly to the review page for your app? I've been trying to figure out how to do this and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Do you know that this link works on the iPad as well is the iPhone? I have found a link that only works on the iPhone, but not for both.

    There is an App Rating Demo provided with GS. It gives you the Direct Link.

    And if you go back to the menu and scroll down to level 16 or higher you can upgrade there or… Once you beat all the demo levels it will send you back to the main menu and give you a prompt there as well.

    @tenrdrmer How is it going with IAP? Is it worth it? Some bad reviews because of it?

    I want to do a similar thing with a couple of lite versions but I wanted to hear some first hand experience, if you don't mind.

    @uptimistik - do you think if you set a level based game for free and made 30 levels for the download - then had IAP for another 30 levels (or more) would it show some of that magic?
