Hi everybody
It has been a while since I have been on the forums and I am glad to be back. I think that I think that this is going to be one of the best contest and I am happy to participate. That are already lots of great ideas. But my is different than all of them. You will play as a younge curouise robot ( haven't figured out a name for it yet I am open for suggestion). You live on a big space ship because the earth has been destroyed. So you venture back to July of 2012 the time the world ended. You go back to stop the horrible desastor but one you get there you time machine breaks and you have no way of getting back so you must find all you smashed parts and put them back together without dying. I hope to finish this idea but I am not sure. I have a lot of school things going on and I may not be able to finish ( right now that is ). What do you think?

    The robot going back to a dead earth almost reminds me of Wall-E.

    Kind of like Wall-e but different. He not going back to a dead earth but a dying earth. But a dead earth might be cool I should think about that.

    Do you guys have any ideas for a name for a robot? I would like it to be short like bob but not bob.

    Thanks so much for the great name ideas I could not decide between Zon or Din-tin but I am going to go with Din-tin. Today I am actually going to start working on the game and art I sketch out what I wanted the robot to look like but that is all. I also want to bring back the idea of really hard game that they made back in the day so this game is going to be very hard.

    I was wondering if I can buy art or hire an artist Im guessing no but just making sure.

    I have decided to go with a very simple art scheme. You will not be able to see Din-tin full expresion or body becuase he will only be a silhouette. I also have decided because it will be so easy to do I will do the art last. Tell me what you think.

    Right I am bogged down with homework and chores. I am sitting at my desk till I get an idea that I am totally pleased with so I may keep this idea or maybe not. I get back to you guys later.

    I have come up with an idea I am going to stick with the game is going to be called "Think Outside The Box". That is all I am going to tell you for now.

    I have some of the art work done. I have decided to go with a pixel art style. The main characters are blocks so it works perfectly.

    Sorry guys but I'm. Throwing in the towel. I am going to finish this game but I need to start with something simpler. Ok it was fun though I just wish it was summer time! :(|)

    Oh man, well maybe you can put what you have done on the side and come back to it later. It seemed like a pretty neat idea.
