Hey guys, I've been working on this game for quite some time now. It's going to be INSANE. I want to raise the gamesalad standard.
It's a platform typed game: the objective is to collect all the keys on the level to open the door to the next. I haven't added enemies, objectives, weapons, or a type of currency yet but it's on the way!

Here's what I've been working on (I did all the graphics in iDraw):

    mario must be envious of Rascal's fit physics.. this guy can do triple flips in the air while eating his energy bar held by his feet.

    Hey buddy - I feel it could use a little more spice, but definitely on a solid track.
    Like when he's falling he would benefit with a falling animation, like stretching his arms out.
    Maybe even an image change when he's sliding down the walls.

    Keep it up, i'm interested in seeing more.

    Ya is a cracking start but i feel it does need more. Certainly something going on in the background would add another dimension! Its a big space to have it just coloured 1 colour.

    But no image! Any ideas other than the overused mountain scenery?

    I have wasted 300+ hours only to find music for my project, and didn't finish it. So I don't think 100+ hours is a lot to make a game. Platforming looks smooth, but I don't like that player need to do a leap of faith to collect all starts. In my opinion graphics on the level is to simple.

    Harsh...
    You wasted 300 hours looking for music? Seriously? I do music last, its supposed to match the feel of your game - which isnt fully developed until the product is completed.
    I didn't make a game, btw, i'm only half way through mechanics.

    I'll do an updated video with all the new grahics - you can't see detail due to the poor quality and there are a lot of textures that cant be made out.

    As for the leap of faith... I like it :)

    Thanks for the critisism though, really. You're opinion means a lot!

    Overall, I like what you have. There are a couple of things that I would take a look at, though. I can't tell if the player is suppose to be flying or jumping. If the player should be flying, I would like to see more animations that show this. If the player is suppose to be jumping, it seems to me the physics need to be changed a little.

    Also, the player seems to be running a little above the ground. Maybe eliminate the space between the player and ground.

    But overall, looking good!

    Game? No, I think I need minimum another year. Theres a lot of reasons for that. Working at spare time, not on constant basis. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim :D

    But this topic is about your game @-)
