What size do I need to make my icon - Kindle Fire

Hey guys,

The cookbook says that I need to put a 512x512 image in for my icon (for kindle fire) and when I see the icon on my Kindle's dock, it looks VERY blurry and distorted. Am I supposed to put in a different size?

    Hey Bray,
    Amazon requires 2 icons ,
    1) 512x512
    2) 114x114
    just scale the 512x512 down in photoshop or some other program .

    Really? On my Kindle, like stated above, its very distorted - this won't be when it's listed in the app store?

    Im also new to this android thing , but i believe that if you put a wrong resolution is, it just won't let you , so there is no place for error with this .
    But if I'm wrong i hope someone will let us know soon .

    @P-O-M I mean when I'm filling everything out on the GameSalad side - which category to put the app into etc.

    I just got approved last night. We were waiting for the sound issue to become manageable. They reduced the delay greatly and with a few planned work arounds I got my app to function normally. One just has to put their mind to it.

    Hey guys,

    Still having trouble - I upload the 512x512 on GameSalad, and send the apk to my Fire. The icon looks terrible!
    I want to fix this before submitting it. Anybody know why it'st doing this?

    Also, I see the icon needs to be SRGB or CMYK...Am I fine on this? I made this in Photoshop. :P

    They replace it with the one you send them don't worry how it looks on your build. That's why you submit a 114x114
