Button only works once. Need help. THANKS!

Hello all,
I have a button that when pressed it calls the players jump method which contains the players actions. It is only allowing me to press it once. I have a second button which is doing the same thing but if I click button 1 then click on button 2, it will allow me to then and only then click button 1 again. Thanks in advance.

    hey there killerpenguins, sounds like you have a true false rule thats not resetting...have you set your jump up like that?... as in if jump button pressed then change jump to true?, if so just add a change attribute jump to false in the otherwise section of that rule, that way when your not pressing the button it will constantly register him is not jumping... if thats not the case just post your code briefly so that someone can have a look.

    Yes always have a true or false and are you using touch pressed?

    Thank's for the responses guys. I finally got it working with two different effects. After 17 hours of trying to get this figured out I finally got it and thanks again for your help guys!
