Png compression

Is there a software that will batch compress my png files smaller then what I am outputting from Photoshop? I would love to get my scenes to load faster, I was thinking reducing the PNG sizes would do it..

    If you are saving your pngs as 8 bit from Photoshop using save to Web...you probably are not going to get them much smaller.

    Just make sure they are 8 bit unless you need the high quality transparency.

    Also...scene loading times are slow pretty much for everyone...its a GS flaw that has not been corrected yet.

    I usually save them out of Photoshop and then drop them onto a program called PNG press. Sometimes it really crunches them down like 80%. Depends on the artwork. Hope that helps.
