How long does it take for Amazon to review and approve your app?

Hey guys,

Just submitted Penguin Pounce Lite to Amazon and I wanted to know how long it takes for Amazon to review and approve your app? A week? 2 weeks?

I hope it does well. :P

    fairly quickly, 2-4 days from my experience.

    Don't forget the first review is for the Amazon Android store. There is a second review for the Kindle fire. For the first review you get an email, for the fire review you only get and email if you get rejected.

    Yuh usually sale start only after kindle review approved .

    Nope, ours was up for sale hours after approve for Amazon Android Store, we're still waiting for Kindle approval and you just have to watch for it to appear on the fire store they only email for fire if you get rejected.

    Interesting - So, how long does it take to get through both?

    @ultima - it only took 2-4 days for you to get through both?

    nope, kindle fire takes another 2-5 days... it's actually longer than the first approval time.

    Anything special we need to do in order for the app to be in the kindle store? or is this process done automatic ?

    @Roy: You don't need to do anything special. It is automatic.
