Animation?? Is it going to crash! ??

Hi guys!

I just made myself a pretty sweet new splash screen!, AS you may know I make splasscreens (For Gs users

)
The splash screen is 100 frames... Do you think that sort of animation would be to heavy??

I would thing it a pain to open the app with a big load so I would animate the elements you have here inside of GS. TRy cutting it in 3 and then having frames for the change in the top section as it changes. You can move, scale, and fade up and down with rules. This would radically reduce the loading and memory use. Hope that helps. kipper

Im dropping 3 secs at the start so its only the glow on the text..

As always ... test my friend. By the time we give you our opinions, you read them and deliberate on whose right or wrong, you could of chucked the 100 frame animation into GS, published an ad-hoc and known the answer

Having problems with the simulator at the moment, I Tried to update it, watched all the videos but it keeps on saying build failed...

You don't need the viewer to build an ad-hoc version ... stop looking for excuses, you're being lazy

The ad-hoc is the best way of a true reflection anyway, don't always trust the viewer!

If you wanna persist with the viewer anyway, perhaps this may be of some help;
