Publishing To Kindle Fire Question

Hey everyone,

Well we finally got our act together and have decided to port our apps over to Android - specifically the Amazon AppStore for Android to target the new Kindle Fire. We've already got a Kindle and I've watched @tenrdrmer 's Setting Up Android video, but I'm unsure about the aspect ratio to use on my projects. I know there is a Kindle / Nook Color Landscape and Portrait option in GameSalad Creator, but is there any way I can upload my iPhone or iPad project for testing and distribution on Amazon's AppStore? I have Darren and Wayne's awesome Project Resizer tool, but the version I have does not list the Kindle / Nook Color Landscape or Portrait option. Any help on how to resolve this issue would be much appreciated!

Follow the resizing technique here http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/32594/resizing-to-ipad-technique#Item_100 and you can convert to the kindle res super fast. also make sure when building your keystore you type in the line I Copy paste in that video. For some reason copy and paste cuts off part of it when it submits.

    Thanks for the help guys!

@tenrdrmer: Thanks for the heads up about not copying and pasting the keystore line. After I complete the process shown in your video, how do I download my keystore file to upload to GameSalad Creator during publishing? Thanks!

It's not downloaded. Your Mac generates it and places it in your home folder. You didn't watch the whole video did you ;) jk

Also I added some annotations to the video to address the copy paste thing I didn't realize I could do that to a live video.

@tenrdrmer: lol, I must have missed that part :)

Anyways, got everything set up and we've started testing our first Android app on our Kindle Fire! So far its going well, and hopefully we'll be able to upload to Amazon over the weekend. Fingers crossed :D

Thanks again for your help everyone.
