Has anyone encountered crashing on an ipod 4 iOS5 when other devices are ok?

Just wondering if anyone has come across performance/memory issues on 4th gen ipods when other devices are ok.

One of the peeps from the TA forum is convinced my game crashes when loading a new scene and even gave me some memory readouts from her device: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=100471&page=12

It's strange as the numbers I get from the viewer would suggest that all scenes are well within crash limits. Trying to figure this out...

Can this be issue of RAM for images in the first scene? I think it is possible that ram for non-retina graphics is appropriate, and ram for retina graphics is too high - I had an issue like this.

@TheMoonwalls - Yeah, with the x4 images the scenes are 80-90mb which should be fine for a 4th gen device.

Also it tested ok on iphone 4 ios 4

So I'm still trying to figure this out. I re-did the structure of the game to move away from the whole game being in one scene. So now each level is a different scene. I thought it was all working fine but apparently not for ipod 4, iOS 5.

    The mystery remains...

Edit: Oh sh*t... I only just realised that ipod 4 DOESN'T have double the RAM like iphone 4 does. That would explain it. It has the same 256MB of RAM that a 3rd gen ipod does. Who's bloody idea was that...?! Dear Apple, did you really not have a couple extra bucks to spend on the extra memory?

Ok, so I'll just have to use some lower rez images...
