Im guessing it will only work for a grayish background but uh pretty much the title says it I would like it to change blue hues during the day and night and a purpleish colour for sunset and sun rise! Have a nice day :)

    Sure you can!
You can base the color of the sky on the device clock attributes ..
You can either change the color like you said with a grayish background , or you can change the whole image.

Do you know how I could do it?

@mrglocking ... if I understand your request correctly I have made a projectfile that might help you. In the Rules you can set the attribute game.clock (its under devices) and hours, minutes etc. I set the hour as if greater than 15 (24 hour clock) then change image. I also have an interpolate behaviour effecting the alpha in there (set to off) so you can see and try that instead by setting the change image to off and turning the interpolate on. If you change the clock hour is greater than value to something later you will see that the background shows normally. Hope that helped:

I did this for my game Sun Runner. http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sun-runner/id457656798?mt=8
All I had were different images that changed depending on the time. You could however change the colour values based on the time.

@simo103 Thanks man, I needed this and your tutorial helped. However, I needed mine to change from day to night after every 6mins so all I had to do was change the clock attribute from hour to minutes and it works great. Thanks man
