Who knows, I guess (for differing reasons) it's the humourless, the overly-sensitive and the confused.
I think my observation that folk from the US rarely mention what country they are from (an observation that is demonstrably true) seems to have been read as a slight against the American people and my account on the forum now has 6 'troll' points, lol! )
I admit I'm very lucky to live where I do. I can in a minute, walk on the beach and enjoy the solitude and drive downtown and see the locals. You would love christmas as we do a Charles Dickens's style every year. The Cape is full of creative artists of all genres, photography, various painting styles, filmmakers, writers et... and there is a huge support system for the creative arts. It's a very inspirational place to live as are many other places. Every place in this world has it own unique aspects to offer and as someone who's done a great deal of traveling I'm always inspired by each place in a different way which only adds to my creative lexicon! LIke Houston which has a fantastic Blues scene!
