Invisible

Hello! I'm from Russia. I have a problem. In my game, there are a ball and a platform. The ball falls on the platform, and it schould to slide down from platform. BUT the ball gets on something invisible above a platform and rolls down therefrom. What schould I do? Mays anyone to help me please!!!

    In fact, I compared settngs of the ball and another thing fron other game when this problem isn't. Settings are equally.

    I'm not exactly sure of what is happening with your game. Either a little more information, or a screenshot, or a video would help a lot.

    I take it you are just starting out with GameSalad? If you can post a picture of where you are stuck, or a video that would be cool, but in the meantime, if you haven't seen this already, you may want to look over all the information that is available about working with GameSalad. Here are a few links to help you understand some basic functions with the software.

    You would need to record your screen while testing the game. You can use Quicktime to do a screen record, and then you would need to upload it to youtube, and then provide a link here to that youtube page.

    A lot of work, I know.

    You could always click on each actor in your "Layers" palette, you will then see the selected actor on the scene, then you can see if there is an invisible actor thats screwing you up.

    No, I haven't invisible actor, I have 3 actors such as the ball, the platform and the inclined platform. All are visible. Well, I will bring a video today or tomorrow. Thanks:)

    Ahhh. I can see now, your problem is very simple. Your image that you used is not to the edges of the file size. In other words, you have a large unused alpha area around your graphic. GameSalad does not do pixel collision, it collides with the bounding area of the image. So if your image does not go to the edges, it will come out like this. You also have the collision set to circle, unless that is the way you want it.

    But to fix your problem, you are going to need a new graphic, and it will need to go to the edge of the workspace in whatever graphic program you are using.

    The platform in a picture is cut off on a contour and kept in a format png. What particularly it is necessary to make?

    You must cut away all the space around your image.

    You have a lot of background space around your image, you need to get rid of that. Here are a couple of examples that may help you understand what you need to do.

    The image you are currently using is like this...

    You need to crop the image...
    Do this in preview,...
    Open the image on your mac.. and crop
